It started snowing quite hard on Friday and it didn't stop until sometime in the middle of the night. So I got to wake up to this awesome blanket of snow. These picture are what I can see out of my front door. It looks kinda all smooth and perfect don't it?
I promise you that the only people I saw that were brave enough to get out in this white stuff, were the ones with SUVs. I even saw some people walking to and from the grocery store. The closest store is probably a 15-20 min walk away from the neighborhood on a good day. I telling you right now, that there was no way I was getting out in that snow and ice to walk to the store for a few items. Knowing myself as I do, I'd be that fool you'd see out there who has fallen on my face, with my groceries laying everywhere on the ground! lol..
Having lived in New York for a while, this really isn't that much snow to me. In New York we got 3-4 feet of snow....... and that was a good day! And it sucks to be you if you got the lake effect snow... So this little 3-5 inches doesn't really phase me. It was fun to watch others get out in the snow and slide down hills and whatnot. I'm also pretty sure that some kid tried to build a snowman. How do I know, you ask? Cuz that would've been me trying to scrape up every bit of snow to make the biggest snowman I could build! lol..
I know you're looking at the picture below, like 'wtf?' But do you see those four little ovals in the snow? Well, we have our own little residential bunny rabbit! He's brown, fuzzy, and sooooo cute. We saw him posted up by one of our trees for the longest and I should've taken a picture, but oh well. I was surprised that he came up on the porch and got that close to the door. That picture is actually of the door mat right in front of the door.
Ciao!
