Greetings!
Are you as ready for Friday as I am? I totally live for the weekend. Last Friday, me and my friend Stacie D had a Girl's Night at Atlantic Station. You got everything you need down there from Ikea, to clothing stores, restaurants, grocery stores, and of course the movie theater!
The night consisted of some shopping, dinner at Chick-a-Biddy (weird name I know) and going to see Single Mom's Club. Total chick flick, right? Are you like me and you try to take photos of everything? :) I mean... you have to celebrate the occasion with pictures, right? Right!!
Per usual in Atlanta, (which to this day I do NOT understand) the family at the next table was staring at us. You know how you will be minding your own business and then all of a sudden you can just feel someone looking at you? Yeah.. that happened. The funny thing about people that stare is, they never bother to speak and when you catch them staring, they just keep on staring!!! Whaaaa? Why?
I love it when you're having a silly moment and then some stranger comes up and participates in the fun. One of the servers there at Chick-a-Biddy skipped over to us and said, 'Hey! Are you trying to take a picture?' I was totally trying to take a picture. I said yes of course. Then he says, 'You looked like you were trying to do something funny so just do the same thing.' He proceeds to take his own picture with my phone and then snaps a picture of us. Here are the results. :)
I was forced into that first pic!! :)
ReplyDelete-Signed "Stacie D" lol
Lmao! You'll be okay.. Now you are immortalised on the internet. ;)
ReplyDeleteha ha! fun!
ReplyDeleteOf course! One must take LOTS of pictures!
Perhaps you should've taken a photo of the people staring at you. ;-)
Yes!! Glad to see someone else knows about taking pictures! Hmm.. Never thought about taking a picture of the ppl staring but I like that idea! Ha!
DeleteOh wow, those waffles look amazing!! And yes, staring people are so annoying!
ReplyDeleteThey were most definitely amazing!
DeleteI thought you were going to take a picture of the people staring as well. I live in the metro Atlanta area as well. I have never tried the chicken and waffles yet. I need to try them sometime. I love shopping at Ikea, so I need to go check out this restaurant.
ReplyDeleteI really should've taken a picture of them! Next time though. ;) The restaurant is right in front of the movie theater. If you check it out, let me know what you think.
DeleteChicken and Waffles! I've heard of it, but never tried it. Must be a southern thang. ;)
ReplyDeleteIt's a total Southern thang.. Lol. Kinda like eating fried fish and spaghetti and meat sauce together in one meal.
DeleteI remember girls night out, lol. I have not had one in a while, probably since having kids. I think I need one!
ReplyDeleteHaha! You gotta have a Girls Night! I hadn't had one in quite a while myself, so it was really fun. :)
DeleteEveryone loves chicken and waffles...but I've never had it before. I went to visit Atlanta at one point and did not get a chance to go.
ReplyDeleteYes indeed. I won't go so far as to say it was my favorite meal ever... But I'd eat it again.
DeleteAnd I thought you were going to take a picture of the people staring. That would've taught them not to stare! :)
ReplyDeleteYes indeed it would!
