Radical Self Love!

Hello all!

As I do almost everyday, I read my favorite blog The Icing and Gala Darling has written another great post. This one happened to be about radical self love, which I am all totally about for this year. There were some questions on there to ask yourself to help you along on your journey, so I have decided to answer them here for myself and you! Enjoy..

What does RADICAL SELF LOVE mean to you? It means doing everything that you can to make sure that you're taking care of yourself and taking time to pamper yourself with whatever you love to do.

If you were engaging in RADICAL SELF LOVE on a daily basis, what would that look like? I would have all glorious, tasty, and healthy meals cooked for me, I'd watch at least one feel good movie, pamper myself with a massage, pedicure, or hair salon visit, meditate to feel grounded and take a yoga class.

What small pieces of that can you bring into your life TODAY? I can do my own pedicure, hair, yoga, meditation, & movie.

Which qualities or attributes would you like to bring into your own life via the application of RADICAL SELF LOVE? I would love to learn how to take the time to make sure I'm taking care of myself.

What beliefs do you currently hold that are stifling your regular expression of RADICAL SELF LOVE? I always feel guilty whenever I take the time to do something for myself or things that I want to do. I always want the people around me to feel comfortable so I always just do whatever they prefer. I hate it whenever people act like babies b/c they don't get their own way or they have to do something that they don't want to do. I just want to scream 'SUCK IT THE PHUCK UP!!!', but instead I just do what they want, b/c most of the time I don't mind what they want to do or I just don't feel like hearing the whining! Argh!

Are the people & activities in your life HELPING or HINDERING you in your quest for RADICALSELF LOVE? Would you be better off without them? I feel like I've already put the ball in motion of letting go of the people in my life that are only there to hinder me or be fake with me. Have I been better off without them? Yes, it's been less drama.

How can you reflect RADICAL SELF LOVE in the way you speak, the way you dress, the way you decorate your house, the work you do? Speak: I can stay positive and support other people to help keep them in a positive frame of mind. Dress: never step out the house without looking my best. House: keep things clutter free and clean. Work: be true to myself in my art.

Who could you use as a RADICAL SELF LOVE role model? I totally dig Queen Latifah and Lady Gaga! Queen shows that you can be beautiful, poised, and down to earth no matter what and Lady G. b/c she's not afraid to be who she is and act as weird as she wants to!

So that's it! I hope this has inspired you to be your best self and find a way to treat yourself as best as you can everyday.

Ciao!
