The Saturday Short

Greetings friends!!

It's been what feels like a long week, after having two short work weeks in a row. I love waking up on Saturday mornings, knowing that the day is new and filled with possibilities.  

Although I've been a slacker lately... I've gotten my workout in for the day and now it's time to a cup of tea, a little breakfast, and then it's off to the range and to anywhere else The Boo and I see fit. There are a lot of movies out that we what to check out. I see a large dark room, with many seats, and movie popcorn in my future. What are you up to today?

It all started with a rolling pin. My mom gave me a pre-birthday gift last night, which just so happened to be said rolling pin. I'm at home for the weekend and staying with The Rents'. 

Mom and I had baking fun this morning. Lots of flour everywhere was involved. Laughter was had.  Biscuits were made. And love was dashed in too.

Greetings Friend!

It's a cloudy and somewhat rainy day here in Atlanta, GA, yet cheerful nonetheless! The morning has been quiet with the exception of the drama our neighbors seemed to cause, but I refuse to let that put a damper on the day. You know how it goes... Every now and then a neighbor or two will have a disagreement and wake you up out of your peaceful much needed slumber with their car alarm... If nothing else it's entertaining. Especially when you get to talk about what happened with other neighbor who saw it all!

Anyhow, The Boo and I plan on getting out and about today to do some shopping! Maybe I'll find some deals and cutely rain boots to be stylishly chic in. I really like these. I'm even going to go get a picture of my aura taken (because I'm into that kinda thing) for shits and giggles.

The Saturday Short..

Greetings friends! 

The Boo and I are out and about early today. Had a waffle or two at a 'new' place in midtown.. The morning is loving us with its sunrays and joy. The kind of morning where you ride with all the windows down and can't believe life is so good.

We're off to a festival now, which I'm sure will be filled with smiling crowds,  laughter,  and mysterious crafts that I will be tempted to buy.  I love a good festival, don't you? I have such good memories in my childhood of going to them.

The Saturday Short

Greetings!! 

I thought I'd share a short post today about my Saturday adventures with you. Currently I'm sitting in one of many dazzling Starbucks and sipping on a skinny vanilla latte, with sprinkles of vanilla, cinnamon,  and chocolate. Sounds good, no? 

I'm not sure what it is about Starbucks, but whenever I'm in one it makes me feel uber chic. I don't care if I look grimy or if I'm in name brand clothes, the feeling is always the same. 

I sitting back people watching and talking with you friends. Later on I'll go to the mall and probably buy something I don't need, but will absolutely love.

It's About to be On!

 Greetings!

Fall is here for us in the United States and I'm crazy excited about it! Why? Well, it's not just that you don't burst into flames as soon as you step foot outside of the house, or even that you get to wear cute jackets and do layered looks.... The number one reason is that it's 

YARN SEASON!!! 

Don't get me wrong... I work with yarn all year round mainly because I'm a yarn addict, but when cold weather starts to creep in people from all walks of life start to think about yarn too! So in other words, it's the start of busy season. Yes!

I've been wanting to go in a more let's say, cozy direction for this fall. More scarves will be made and featured and I want to do more things for the home as well. Thank you to those that let me use them as guinea pigs and allowed my ideas to be used in real life!  :)

I'm so geeked about these new scarves! I love playing with color and from what I can see, it's going to be a very colorful season. Color is here for a reason! It's to wear and flaunt and express ourselves in an outwardly way. When color is involved, always go for it! The top picture featuring the scarf with tassels is completed and I need to take pictures of it for Etsy and I love love love it!

The bottom picture is the scarf I'm currently working on and am in the process of sewing together. I'm thinking that I'll be adding tassels on it too, because I'm really digging them and well.... they're fun to play with when wearing them!

I've also just added some fun coasters to The Shop as well. I've made some for myself and use them everyday at work and at home. I'll be showcasing some exciting accessories to go with the coasters soon, but in the mean time here is what is available!
